2011-08-26 02:15:00Welcome to École Camille J. Lerouge. We are looking forward to a year of new challenges and experiences. We begin the school year by welcoming all our families to the 2011-2012 school year.
École Camille is a Prekindergarten - Grade 9 French Immerison - English dual track school. The French Immersion program includes K through Grade 9 and the English program from grades 6 through 9. École Camille is Red Deer's Catholic French Immersion school. French Immersion students are bussed from all areas of the city and county. The English students come from our feeder schools of St. Elizabeth Seton School, St. Martin de Porres School, St Teresa of Avila School and county schools. There is a student population of 755 students.
École Camille offers a wide range of curricular, extra-curricular and social justice opportunities. The staff is full of hope and enthusiasm for reaching the potential of all students. Guided in our faith by the teachings of Jesus Christ, we journey together learning through our everyday life experiences.

national Education Week 2011 is an annual event celebrated in more than 85 countries around the globe. This year it is being celebrated from November 14 to November 18. Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools will be celebrating and showcasing a variety of innovative education programs and activities throughout the week. Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools Education Foundation will financially assist 13 projects and make a donation to the Foundation’s endowment fund.
Ten school projects and three Division projects will receive funding from the Education Foundation in the current school year. A total of $25,500 will be distributed. For more information, see News Release.
